Sandhurst Memorial Park
This is an open access recreational site covering approximately 28 hectares. It has been developed as a public recreation ground and includes:
- sports pitches
- adventure play area
- tennis courts
- multi-user sports pitch that can be used by schools and groups for basketball, roller hockey, skating etc.
- cricket club
- café that is available for hire in the evenings.
The Park also contains areas of nature conservation interest with a balancing pond providing ideal habitats for wildlife, watefowl and other aquatic flora and fauna. The eastern boudary has as small piece of ancient woodland which was probably once part of the Great Forest of Windsor.
The Park is owned by Sandhurst Town Council.
Sandhurst Sports Club
The Sports Club Bar provides a central location to bring the sporting organisations in Sandhurst together. The club is family orientated and is used for both social and fundraising functions. The club runs two darts teams and two pool teams and now has a football team.
New membership has an annual fee of £12.50 per family and then £10.00 for renewal.
Open: 7pm-11pm on weekdays, 12 noon-11pm Saturdays, 12-6pm Sundays.
